The zip was an invention that revolutionised the ready-to-wear world; it's as useful as paper clips. Both are designer items, useful and in our day to day life and we don't give then its true value. But now we have Kate Cusack, a jewellery designer that lives in Brooklyn. She wants to show the world the potential of the zip. She designs necklaces and pins using zips to do it. She creates unique articles that are full of imagination and are very sophisticated. When she is working she pays special attention to materials, colours and textures. The result is very unique.
